My mother resided here for 2 years. 1year in assisted living, 1 year in memory care. The executive director, Jackie is an excellent leader and has developed a culture of kindness, caring and teamwork. The nursing staff is top notch and truly look after each and every resident. The activities team led by Nick keep the residents active and involved. My mom had celiac disease and Chef Tyler and the food service staff worked hard to give her a good variety of quality food while meeting her gluten free status. If ever we had issues with her care the staff was very responsive. Leadership was accessible at all times. ~ Jeanne H

I would like to express my gratitude to Heritage Senior Living – Deer Creek. My mom lived in independent living for four years, assisted living for one year, and ended up in enhanced care and memory care her last few months. I had the pleasure of getting to know the staff. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care they provided my mom. They were genuinely kind, attentive and patient. I was impressed how all the staff knew all the residents’ names and genuinely cared about the resident’s needs – it showed in how they interacted with them. Mom has been at Heritage Deer creek Assisted living for about 6 months. From the first meet and greet we felt that the management and staff have an honest concern for all the residents under their care. Heritage ensures that all needs are met. They offer and follow up with meals, laundry, showers, medication distribution, work with family doctors, offer many activities, and many daily checkups on welfare with a balance of not interfering with one’s privacy. The change from senior apartment to assisted living is a big adjustment for the resident and family. Heritage management and staff were very helpful and continue to offer their assistance in this transition. Staff is available 7x24. That’s peace of mind for family. (Maintenance actually changed a light bulb at 11:00 at night) I recommend Heritage at Deer Creek for anyone that is looking for exceptional care from Senior apartments, assisted living and memory care. ~ Cliff P

My mom moved into Heritage at Deer Creek in June 2025 and loves it here. Everyone has been so good to her and helped her adjust to her new living arrangement. What could have been a difficult transition was wonderful. To quote mom” I have no complaints it’s wonderful here”. Staff is exceptional and the facility is very nice and clean it feels like home. Nursing staff is so caring and is constantly looking out for her health and mental wellbeing. Heritage is a great facility , that truly cares about residents and staff! I have visited residents on a regular basis and clients are always clean and happy. Last year was a rough year with Covid but staff really stepped up and made a difference when families could not be there. Current leadership in the facility are working hard to make some really positive changes and I couldn’t be happier to continue visiting and see these positive changes. The staff is compassionate, attentive, and consistently goes above and beyond to make residents feel safe, respected, and engaged. The community is warm and welcoming, and our mom has thrived socially and emotionally since moving in. There are wonderful activities, meaningful interactions, and a genuine sense of belonging that gives us tremendous peace of mind. I placed my mom at Heritage Deer Creek this April and have been satisfied with her care. I check in on her meals occasionally to make sure she is getting everything we are paying for, and after making some requests, I find that her meals are good. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My mom's room is clean and comfortable. I am especially happy with the people who run the activities. They make sure to ask my mom to participate and have been responsive to my suggestions. ~ Sandy K

My mother had been in this facility for a few years now. I am amazed at the care the staff had been giving her. Everyone is always getting hugs when they see her walking around. It's been a year since we lost my father and she is very happy that they is someone looking at her. ~ Andy B

We toured several places but we found Deer Creek to be very warm and welcoming. The staff is friendly the residents were engaged with the many activities they offer. . It seemed like a good fit for my Mom. She has been there about 2 weeks and really likes it! ~ Jean T

Dad came here about three months ago. We're happy we chose The Heritage at Deer Creek. The staff is friendly and professional. There are many activities for residents, and everything is kept clean. Everyone goes out of their way to help and make sure residents are taken care of. ~ bruce f

My Dad loves it at Deer Creek. Admission process was efficient and staff is always very helpful when I call. I live an hour away however it is worth it to know he is happy. ~ Gary B
